Frank Pilkington has been psychic since childhood. Growing up in a coastal town on the West of Scotland, his abilities set him apart.
But Frank continued to hone his gifts and his blend of mysticism, humanity and perceptiveness began a burgeoning career in magazines, newspapers, radio, TV and on the stage.
In 1990 Frank became the first Scottish male astrologer to write for a weekly national magazine, Woman’s Realm, and worked with the publication for 10 years until it closed in June 2001.
His popularity in Scotland led to him hosting a live daily live radio phone-in with Scot FM from 1994 to 1997. In June 2000 he once again took to the airwaves, at Clyde 2, Scotland’s biggest radio station, with 1 million listeners a day.
He also guested on Scottish Television’s Lunchtime Today programme for one year and was then invited in 1997 to become resident astrologer for Scotland’s biggest Sunday newspaper, The Sunday Mail, for whom he still writes.
In March 1998 he widened his audience even further when he became Channel 4’s resident astrologer on Teletext (page 418).
His down-to-earth advice, soothing Scottish tones and individual way of looking at life are transmitted weekly to thousands via the telephone services which are part of his horoscope columns in newspapers and magazines. He has also added SMS text messages to his repertoire with Teletext and thousands now receive his daily words of wisdom via their handsets.
His tours, which began quietly in 1996, have grown to such proportions that he now has to book city theatres instead of town halls. He was invited to bring his live stage show to the Edinburgh Festival in August 2002 and successfully completed a 21 day run!
Frank is instantly recognizable in his hometown of Glasgow where, despite all the other demands on his time, he still reserves a few days per week for personal consultations at Glasgow Hilton hotel.
And now in 2009 his unique blend of special gifts, captivating personality, intriguing image and thorough experience is set to send Frank’s star soaring nationally.
