The Crabs like to feel safe in their family environments. They like to enjoy feelings of peace and serenity when they come home after a busy day in the outside world. The home is the Crabs' self-defence system and it has to be safe from the pryings of the outside world. Even at home the Cancerian will be crabby and snappy sometimes if family members move too close and start to hurt.

The Crabs are quick to pick up on other people's motives, though they're not above a little manipulation themselves on occasion. Basically, the Crab is warm hearted and sensitive with partners and children, but will only show those tender feelings with people he loves and trusts. Home furnishings tend toward the plush and comfortable and Cancer doesn't usually buy on impulse. Most often, Crabs feel uncomfortable around people who do.

You, careful Crab, can grow only when you can openly show your vulnerability to other family members. If you do that, You'll offset a lot of your secret fears and occasional moodiness.
